This week we were given the group task of watching a TED talk and then having a bit of a discussion about it..
So my group looked at a talk on what a driverless world would look like.
https://www.ted.com/talks/wanis_kabbaj_what_a_driverless_world_could_look_like
It basically compared traffic to the human vascular system and how we could learn to make it work better by looking within our own bodies at the way our blood travels throughout our body.
It is mentioned that there are too many cars on the road because there are so many people driving with only one person per car..what if they used other transport?
The idea that Wanis Kabbaj came up wit was a train where each carriage detaches and takes the individuals within to their front door, meaning that they wouldn't even have to wait for each train stop for people to get on and off.
It sounds like a pretty awesome idea to me to be honest..
