Development continues....

Ok, so this week i have started developing an idea for my book design, I wanted to try something with the faceless characters. I thought it would look good to have the character with a thought bubble with the title in the thought bubble to look as though he is literally 'wondering'.

I then thought it would look quite good to have the background look like a blackboard as the story is set around the characters first time in mainstream education. I drew sketchy drawings behind the character in white to further ply that it was a blackboard.

I chose to have the font in white and to use a simple font type to make it easy to read and stand out against the dark background and also to fit in with the idea of chalk too.

I'm not convinced that this design works that well. I'm therefore going to continue experimenting further and see what I come up with.
