The Carmelite Prize

The Carmelite prize brief was finally released today and it looks amazing! I really want to work on this brief as it looks like so much fun.

The brief is to illustrate several pages for a childrens picture book by Kes Gray called ‘Zebracadabra’ and specifically asks for 4 fully finalised double page spreads and 8 sketch double pages.

The more i look at this brief, despite being desperate to work on it, especially with such a great author behind it, i realise that this could be much too big of a project for the time frame I have available so i have decided not to go with it but instead to work on the Penguin Random house brief instead.

Over the next week I plan on researching more into my chosen brief.
